gas station blast injures 6 in Changchun

CHANGCHUN, July 27 (Xinhuanet) -- A blast that occurred at a liquefied
gas station in Changchun city of northeast China's Jilin Province
Wednesday morning injured 6 people, including 3 seriously wounded,
said the accident investigation group.
At around 1:00 a.m. Wednesday, a liquefied gas
tanker was delivering liquefied gas to a gas station at the western
part of the Changchun city.
When the staff was filling the gas station, they
heard abnormal sound in the gas compressor. The blast took place
the moment the staff was checking it, wounding six people on the
spot.
The fire fighters rushed to the site and
put out the fire in 20minutes. The wounded were immediately sent
to hospital for treatment. And further investigation is underway.
